Mr. Grigsby was commissioned officer in the US Navy’s Weather Service and a program manager for various projects within the Navy High Energy Laser Project Office and the Strategic Defense Initiative. After the Navy, he worked in modeling and simulations with a focus on the effect of the environment on defense systems. He then worked as an Assistant Professor of Physics and Engineering at a private college, which transitioned online instruction during the COVID-19 pandemic. Mr. Grigsby currently works in the application of models and simulations in education. Mr. Grigsby has a B.S. degree in Physics and a M.S. in meteorology from the Naval Postgraduate School
